Sapphire Laguna (Global Cuisine) / 5 Star Restaurant
at the former Pottery Shack location in Laguna Beach. It is scheduled to open the first of March 2007. The Old Pottery Place
In the early 1900’s, Laguna Beach was best known as an artists’ colony. One hundred years later, Laguna continues to attract artists and art lovers from all over the world. Laguna Beach Books, Sapphire - "5 Star Restaurant", as well as 4 Top Laguna Art Galleries (on the corner of Cress and PCH) - Townley Fine Art, Mandarin Fine Art, Situ Art Gallery. The Old Pottery Place formerly known as The Pottery Shack was founded in 1936, The Pottery Shack was a wonderful place to pick table settings or spend an afternoon browsing amongst unique gift items.

Today, The Old Pottery Place is once again a gathering spot, with an art- filled courtyard, gourmet restaurant and market, chocolatier and an interesting variety of retail stores.

The carefully-restored “Greeter” remains at corner of The Old Pottery Place between Brooks Street and Cress Street on Pacific Coast Highway. He invites all who come to enjoy fabulous dining and shopping in a setting that evokes the same, unchangeable Laguna Beach charm.
